Install exported bookmarks on your new xubuntu installation:
bookmarks: import bookmarks from html, browse, select file: bookmarks.html, Open

Install dictionaries, on firefox 142.0.1 or later
Install dictionary by menu if needed.

Copy the directory, like: /l215s10h.default/ and a: profiles.ini file in the following sub-directory from the old xubuntu installation:
/home/username/.thunderbird/
to the new one:

Delete the earlier directory and file.
Install thunderbird dictionaries on linux xubuntu 24.04 lts:
Install thunderbird 128.14.0esr or later, dictionaries: thunderbird.
