Configure AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor in BIOS on a MSI MS-7A33/X370 SLI PLUS.
The default BIOS configuration in the BIOS version below is correct.
However, to prevent screen freezes with BIOS version 7A33v3H, Release Date 2019-01-24.
Or a black screen with BIOS version 7A33v3L4.
Use the v3H version.

This should improve the situation.
